starting to play around with a folding map. the color of the region corresponds to the color of the book covers.
The vertical yellow call outs made the page look too cluttered, and I thought it was a little too much forcing the connections into the page. So I cleaned up the book and moved the “see also” connections to the end of the book, as an index. This is a horrible attempt to make it look like its printed on red paper.
Instead of connecting the pages with lines, I created these yellow call-outs that is visually different from the other parts of the book. They act as the ‘see also’s like in text books, and they should encourage the readers to flip through the book to find connections.
